On losing a loved pet, the overwhelming majority of owners reported feeling loss and grief symptoms comparable to the loss of a family member.
When I moved from the UK to Hawaii, my beautiful cat Custard came with me. He enjoyed a happy retirement in the sunshine but sadly, after getting a respiratory illness aged 17, he had to be put asleep. His loss still hurts.
Reports suggest that memorialising your pet helps channel your grief into positive actions and memories, fostering healing and acceptance.
It has been a very touching experience to hear about the lives of the pets Ive painted including Poppy, Mindy, Binx and Bagheera.
Memorial Art
A specially developed Vermeer effect painting which enables me to capture the true to life essence of your pet in a painted form.
This requires a high quality digital photograph to be sent to me. The picture is edited and board mounted before being completely overpainting with PH stabilised ashes which are added to acrylic paint.
Frames are available in black, white and natural. Other sizes available.

Memory Hearts
Your loved pet’s ashes are captured within beautiful heart relief work which sits on a Birchwood board.
Clients can specify colours for the background and the heart. Names, initials or dates can be subtly incorporated into the heart design as desired.
The relief work can be adapted to your own design and will be priced on the complexity and size of the design.
